Article Insight is an independent, nonprofit newsroom that produces high-caliber investigative journalism in the public interest. We deploy open-source intelligence (OSINT) to uncover systemic abuses of power, financial corruption, and policy failures across Bangladesh. Our core mandate is unyielding: People, Places, Policy.

Why We Exist

Investigative journalism in Bangladesh faces severe headwinds from corporate monopolies and commercial pressures. Concurrently, while global investigative journalism has transitioned into a data-driven discipline, the regional ecosystem suffers from a profound deficit in technical infrastructure and advanced geospatial capabilities.

Article Insight fills this void. As a non-profit entity, we do not chase breaking news or rely on advertising. This structural independence allows us the luxury of time to pursue complex, long-term investigations that commercial media cannot afford to cover.

We believe an investigation is only as powerful as the empirical data behind it. To bypass information blockades, our newsroom utilizes rigorous data forensics as core reporting tools:

Independence

We are guided solely by evidence, not ideology. We are funded by philanthropic foundations; our donors support our mission but have zero influence over our investigative targets or editorial processes.
